South East Asian Young Astronomer Collaboration will have its first meeting. The 1st SEAYAC Meeting will be held on November 5-9, 2012 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines.
The aim of the SEAYAC Meeting is to gather young astronomers (undergraduate, graduate and early post-docs) who are conducting research in astronomy and to provide a venue where they can present their work.
In addition, senior lecturers will train participants on specific topics during the meeting. The SEAYAC Meeting will also be the venue to meet fellow young astronomers and get to know each other on a professional and personal level. Everyone is invited to submit a 500-word abstract of their current research in astronomy, astrophysics, space science and related disciplines. Please see the Submissions page for further details.
